About Shelby
Are you looking for the perfect cuddle buddy this winter?
Shelby is a shy cat at the beginning, but once she knows she can trust you, she will reward you with SO affection.
She has now been in two foster homes, and it took a long time and a lot of patience for her to relax in her first home. Although she was scared at the beginning of her second foster home, she quickly warmed up and is now very calm! She has made great strides in learning how to trust humans.
Shelby does like her peace and quiet though, so we recommend she goes to a single person or a couple. She prefers homebodies over party animals though - more Netflix & chill than loud gatherings for her, please!
She needs to minimise her exposure to the sun so that she is protected from sun damage to her nose and ears. And this diva queen needs to go to a home with no other cats!
Shelby loves nothing more than to crawl up on a blanket beside you, and sleep nestled in the crook of your arm. Her favourite thing to do is make biscuits and purr while you pat her!
Come meet this shy but loving girl at her foster home in East Perth.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
