About Ruby
Ruby is a delightful 4 year old Goldie who absolutely adores being with her hoomans all day every day.
In her past life, Ruby lived with her very active retired family who took her everywhere and included her in everything they did. We want the same for her now!
Ruby walks very well on lead and enjoys her daily exercise. She has her own harness and loves sniffing around. She enjoys the local doggie park where she has made new friends. Ruby loves the water and will swim in your pool all day, in fact it can be challenging to get her out, she just luvs doing that doggie stroke! A long lead is a must at the local beach, where she will frolick to her hearts content! Ruby is house trained and will sleep anywhere near you. She doesn’t like being separated from you and will be your shadow! She can be a little submissive so a caring compassionate family is a must. Ruby is good with our resident cat. She is starting to use the doggie door and is learning how to use the ramp to get in the car for trips. She hardly barks at all and is such a joy to have around.
Ruby has been completely vet checked and has no signs of HD or arthritis at her Vet visit.
What does Ruby Need?
We are looking for a retired active couple that would luv to have Ruby with them all the time. A family that will take Ruby on holiday with them and include her in everything they do. We are happy if there is another calm dog in residence. Ruby has started to interact with the other dogs at her foster home and is enjoying their company. Ruby hasn’t been brought up around children and we feel that she prefers the quiet but active life with her hoomans!
Ruby has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm & intestinal wormed, flea & tick treated, & her adoption fee is $550. Ruby is available for adoption in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Hervey Bay. Please note we do not adopt interstate or overseas.
Ruby is being fostered in Hervey Bay. Part of our adoption process is to meet our dogs with your family, after our Committee have approved an application.
Successful families are chosen based on their compatibility with the individual needs & lifestyle requirements of each Golden in our care. We do encourage anyone interested in adopting one of our Goldies to please read our Adoption Process which is located on our website under the “Our Adoption Process” tab. This lists our process from start to finish.
