About Blaze
PLEASE EMAIL MAREE at keetamouse@grapevine.com.au WITH A RUN DOWN OF YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE AND WHAT YOU CAN OFFER BLAZE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE, PLEASE DON'T RING AS I DON'T TAKE DOWN NOTES ON THE PHONE AND I CAN'T ALWAYS CHAT AS I AM DOING OTHER THINGS.
Blaze is a Jack Russell cross and was born 22 April 2016 he weighs 8.4 kg
A very affectionate boy with a beautiful blaze of white down his brown face.
Blaze is your typical Jack who has high energy levels, very muscular dog who can run like the wind and jump 3 feet in the air. Absolutely mad about the ball and doesn’t mind a wrestle with a rope or toy.
He does need a strong handler as he is a high energy dog he just wants to run and like most Jacks he wants to explore, he would benefit from some obedience training and will need to go to classes.
He will need a family with another dog around his size as a bigger dog would be a tad hard to play with because of the size difference and needs to be a female as he is possessive with his food, toys etc when around other males, which is not unusual with Jacks as it is not advisable to have 2 males together, a friendly female would be best so they can play and run some of his energy, he would be great with a fit young couple who run most days and are aware of his breed and energy levels.
He cannot be an only dog for what I have mentioned above, a bored dog is a mischievous dog and it can be a very lonely life for them stuck in a back yard all day with all that energy.
He can be rehomed interstate within drivable distance to Canberra.
I have met him twice now and he is just the nicest, very human friendly boy and is responsive to basic commands.
He would be good with a retired, quite fit person/couple who can give him all that he needs, if you are by the ocean that would be a bonus as he could get rid of some of his energy by throwing a ball around

Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
