About Douglas (on trial)
Introducing Douglas
Douglas is a n approx 2 year old ragdoll x, who came to us with a broken tail. Although Doug was in pain when he arrived, he was as sweet as ever and loved all of the attention we were giving him.
After our vet assessment, it was decided the best outcome for Doug was to amputate most of his tail.
This little man has one of the best personalities we have ever met, such a cool, calm & collected gentleman.
Douglas is always a happy boy. He is content lounging on the bed or in front of a window. He’s happy to follow you around the house and in typical ragdoll fashion, loves to make conversation with you even more so when you answer back.
Douglas is almost always purring, he loves his humans and likes to make friends with other cats. Douglas isn't overly confident with dogs, but a calm and sensible dog who will give him space would be okay.
His favorite thing is pats and scratches. He will flop on the ground and ask for scratches at any time of the day, and if you stop he will lovingly stare into your eyes until you start again. If you have the heart to ignore his request he will gently tap you to remind you that he would like some love.
Douglas isn’t much of a kisser but he would never say no to a cuddle. He is not a cat bed guy and would much prefer to curl up next to you on your bed so you don't have to waste money buying silly cat beds.
Douglas is an inside only cat and is looking for a home much the same, he prefers to be indoors with you.
Doug loves to play, chase and use a scratching post. He would benefit from an enclosed litter tray as he loves to flick his litter around.
Douglas requires a home where he will be as loved as much as he loves you. Although Douglas’ coat is quite short for a ragdoll, he still requires regular brushing as his coat still sheds. Douglas hasn’t been around kids much, but a sensible child who isn’t going to pull what’s left of his tail would be just fine.
Doug would happily suit an apartment life style or a busy home.

If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
