Large Male Dalmatian Dog
I've been adopted!
This pet is no longer available
On Hold
Jax is a 3 year old male Dalmatian who is fun, loving and incredibly active. The Dalmatian is a medium-sized, well-defined, muscular dog with excellent endurance and stamina.
The roles of this breed are as varied as their reputed ancestors. They were used as dogs of war, guarding the borders of Dalmatia. To this day, the breed retains a high guarding instinct; although friendly and loyal to those the dog knows and trusts, it is often aloof with strangers and unknown dogs. Dalmatians have a strong hunting instinct and are an excellent exterminator of rats and vermin.
Jax shows common traits of the Dalmatian listed above. He would make an ideal companion for a single person household, or a family with respectful older children.
Jax thrives off of rules, boundaries and training. He will need someone who is aware of dog behaviour so they can continue on with the foundations we have implemented. His food drive is through the roof, which helps with training.
He would be better suited as an only dog or with another calm canine companion. No cats or pocket pets as he has not yet been tested.
