About Templeton
Meet Templeton! This old man was surrendered to us with Hope (but was not housed with her).
When he first arrived, he was suffering a bad case of mycoplasma and had to undergo vet treatment but, his mycoplasma has predominantly cleared up. He does still sneeze on the odd occasion but he doesn't require any further veterinary treatment at the moment.
While it is always best to keep rats in pairs, Templeton enjoys living the bachelor life and cannot be housed with another rat.
Templeton enjoys exploring his environment and spending time with his humans. He loves his food just as much though.

Adoption details
If you would like to apply to adopt Templeton, please send us an email at bordersmallanimalrescue@hotmail.com telling us about yourself and your home. Please include things such as who lives in the house, if you have any pets, where you are located and anything else you'd like us to know about you.
BSAR does not operate as a "first in best dressed" organisation. Our main priority is matching every animal to the right family. An admin will be in contact with you as soon as possible regarding your enquiry. Our animals are fostered in private homes and we do not have a shelter location. Meet and greets are arranged with approved families at a mutual time and location with the animal's foster carer, the adoptive home and the admin team.
BSAR is run by volunteers and we aim to respond to enquires within 48hrs however this may not always be possible due to personal commitments outside of BSAR. If you haven't heard from us within 48hrs of your initial enquiry, please feel free to send through a reminder email.
Adoption fees are to be paid in full before the two-week trial period commences.
We offer lifetime support for our adoptive homes and also have a lifetime returns policy.
Thank you for choosing adoption and we look forward to chatting with you!
