About Paxton
Hey I’m Paxton and my foster Mumma says I’m super smart
I really love to please her and will do just about anything for food. She thinks I’d be great at agility.
I love making new friends, riding in the car and water 😊
I am confident, cheeky and sometimes a little cocky so not suited to the first time dog owner, in true kelpie style I am really too clever for my own good.
In a very short time I am perfecting my sit, drop, stay, come and toilet training. I am crate trained and hold on over night.
I enjoy playing with my k9 foster siblings and would love a female companion in my new home but providing you don’t work more than full time id be ok with that aswell.
I have foster fury siblings that are cats, I don’t mind them. They are cleverer then I and Are dog savvy so don’t run. I don’t take much notice of them but if you have cats I wouldn’t suit a home with timid, shy and running away ones.
I love meeting new people and children, but would better suit a home with children 10 and older as I am still learning my manners.
I am looking for an active home and family that will take me on adventures, daily walks, medium - large yard, ideally working breed experience and who are looking for a fun dog.
If you are interested in meeting me please send my foster mum a brief description of the home you can provide and we will send you an adoption application form
I am located in Whittlesea for meet and greets

Adoption details
Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
