Goliath is 70+ kilos of doofus. We think he's got some golden retriever in there somewhere, which possibly explains his kind nature and loving personality. Goliath loves attention and will lean into you for pats and scratches, snuggling his big head against you and lapping up as much attention as you are willing to give. At 6 goliath is a mature dog who is sensible, calm, quiet, well-mannered, house trained and non-destructive. He's happy to spend time alone with a chew toy or bone to keep him amused. However, goliath has the heart of a puppy and will make you laugh when he gambols with all the exuberance of a much younger dog. He loves a walk, but his exercise needs are moderate, so a brisk walk night and morning or a nice run off-lead once a day are all he needs. He walks very well on a leash, has good recall, knows sit and as much as he loves his food, will wait calmly for his dinner. He likes going in the car and even knows how to shake hands! goliath is good with other dogs, including small dogs but isn't suitable for a home with cats. If you like big dogs and are looking for a sensible, loving, well-balanced companion please give us a call and arrange to meet goliath
