About Angel
This beautiful white and blue girl is 4yrs old. She is an absolute sweetheart and loves to play! Angel will entertain herself with a variety of toys, throwing them around the loungeroom, pouncing on them and digging at them. She is a quirky character who will keep you entertained.
Angel walks very well on the lead when out and about. She has been walked by an 8yr old, with no trouble even when we saw a cat. You will notice in her profile picture, she is standing beside a pram as well & has been walked next to a several month old baby in the pram. She walked at the end of her lead (which was shortened due to the pram), but did not pull and our hound walker volunteer said she was a pleasure to walk beside the pram with no worries. During this time, she saw other dogs and people, plus crossed a road and didn't cause a problem with the pram or pull on the lead.
Angel has been tested with our little white fluffy dog & has shown little interest in him. She has undergone cat testing, but has proven to be a little too playful with the cat. She really wants to interact with him and play, but when he doesn't want to play, she will play bark at him. At this stage, we have suspended her cat training. She may learn to leave kitty alone, if a home were willing to keep working with her. We may revisit her cat training if she is still in care when the current hounds have all been cat tested.
Angel is looking for a home where she will have some company.

We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet. The meet and greet MAY be conducted at the time of the home visit, however this will be discussed with each family.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
