About Buster
This bright and bubbly boy is very sweet, sociable, playful and affectionate.
Little Buster had a bit of a rough start, being surrendered at 5 days of age with a large open wound - covering the whole right side of his face.
With intensive treatment and care, wound management and daily bandage changes, he has made an amazing recovery.
Buster was initially hand raised during a quarantine period after he was surrendered - after which time he put with another mother raising a singleton pup, to learn normal dog behaviour and develop his social skills. This has been an imperative part of his up bringing, to ensure understanding of other dogs and animals, reading body language, learning bite inhibition, and how to interact with other dogs and puppies in an appropriate manner.
Buster enjoys time both indoors and outdoors, and it is important he goes to a family with a safe and secure backyard - but that he is also allowed indoor access when people are home, and to be part of a family unit. Buster has been raised as part of a family, and it is important that this remains.
Though he enjoys and thrives on being around people and other dogs Buster is not anxious - and is happy to keep himself occupied, whilst family may be at work/school etc.
Buster would be best suited to local families, and though Sydney families are a must (no interstate adoption, or families outside of Sydney) a preference will be given to potential adopters within the Parramatta area and surrounds, where Buster can continue going to the same veterinary clinic (Great Western Animal Hospital, situated in the Pendle Hill/Greystanes area).
Medical notes
Buster does have a visible scar on the right side of his face, as a result of the open wound he had as a puppy. This is not causing any ongoing issues, but does make him look as though he constantly has that cheeky grin.
Buster will be desexed prior to going to his new home.
As we do not receive donations and funding, Busters adoption fee is to cover the medical bills involved with his treatment, recovery, and procedures.
