About Archie
PLEASE EMAIL MAREE IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR LIFESTYLE AND A RUN DOWN OF YOUR PREVIOUS DOGS, WHETHER YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND YOUR ACTIVITY LEVELS ETC, DO NOT CALL AS I CAN'T ALWAYS ANSWER MY MOBILE OR MAY BE BUSY.
BY EMAILING I HAVE YOUR INFORMATION AS I DON'T TAKE ANY NOTES OVER THE PHONE, I LIKE TO HAVE ALL YOUR INFO BEFORE THE CALL IS MADE.
AJ has arrived and what a gorgeous boy he is. He will be having a groom and a good shredding of his coat as not sure if his size is from the thick coat or as his previous dad said he is a tad overweight.
He is tolerating my other dogs but at this stage am not convinced he needs another dog in his new home, he did live with another dog who passed away last year and they were buddies, my 8 dogs may be a tad too much for him to take in.
He loves people though and wants to sit on your lap, well mine isn't big enough unfortunately😀😀
He would do well in a home with a retired couple/one person so he has them all to himself, he cannot be an only dog on his own all day, he would be so upset, he deserves at his age to have people around, would prefer his new family to have had dogs that have medium maintenance coats ie brushing, light clipping and be able to put up with their coats molting.
If you are interested please email me at keetamouse@grapevine.com.au and tell me about you and your lifestyle ie how many in the home, what his life will be ie walked most days taken on family outings etc, he would not be suitable for small children who will crawl all over him and basically annoy him.
He is a delightful boy who has many good years in him, lifespan for Japanese Spitz is around the 15-16 years mark, he is 7 years old now.
Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
