Sookie

We are taking expressions of interest for Sookie a 2 year old medium x breed. We have had Sookie for almost a month now and as much as we would love to keep her we are hoping to find a dog loving household that will love her as much as we do. She is starting to come out of her shell, she has been brilliant with my 3 children aged 3,7 and 11. Her favourite thing is plastic squeaky dog toys and a comfy spot to curl up on the sofa . She knows sit, stay, come and will do anything for a treat and walks well on a leash but will shy away from things that frighten her . She is going to need a lot of time and patience I cannot stress this enough you will need to let her warm up to you on her terms (which won’t be terribly hard as she is a sweetheart) you will need to expose her to life outside of the home. Sookie is also not good with other pets she has very high prey drive and has also been attacked by other dogs which has made her fearful and reactive so needs to be an only pet. With understanding, patience and love she is going to make someone an incredible dog.
