About Silverfox
I was adopted but returned ONE DAY LATER. This REALLY stressed me out and just isn't fair. I need a home that understands it will take ANY cat longer than a day to settle.
Hi there! My name is Silverfox, nicknamed Nugget because I was found roaming around McDonalds for a long while before some kind people decided to bring me into Cat Haven. I wasn't doing very well in the sheds because I was sooo stressed out, so I went to a foste rhome. Since then, I've been slowly getting used to having humans around and I'm loving it but still a little wary and confused as to how these BIG humans act. I'm super at being a cat with clean toileting and grooming.
I love cuddles and I'm a total purr machine when I get started. However, it takes a while for me to warm up so I do need a patient and stress free home for me to do that at my own pace. Loud noises scare me and I'm still quite a timed cat so it would be good if you could keep me confined to a small room to start with while I slowly gain my confidence in a foreign environment. I do hiss at times especially if you approach me from the sides. I don't mind being picked up and cuddled but ideally wrapped up in a comfy blanket and I will purr myself to sleep on your lap.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
