About Finn
Finn came from the pound very timid. He is started to gain confidence and sometimes we see his tail wag however he is still timid and needs a family experienced with this. He is really terrified of men and would like a female household. He would like a confident girlfriend as his partner who can show him the ropes and be the leader. He is a beautiful gentle boy. He walks with encouragement on loose lead, ignoring dogs and interested in cars. He enjoys being patted by volunteers. Volunteers say "Slightly nervous at first but got better and walked well on lead. Inquisitive of people but overall not too scared. Beautiful gentle boy. Sweetheart" "Finn was very scared so we just sat together and he enjoyed the snacks a lot. Very sweet boy", "Shy at beginning but with encouragement he walked all the way" He has a short coat and weighed 17.1kg when he came in. Whilst lean he is closer to 23kg now.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE:

Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
