About Bo
Bo is a gentle giant. He likes to have a play, but is a very good boy and knows how to sit (as seen in his photos). He is a little undershot in the jaw, which gives him the cutest toothy grin.
He is only 2yrs old, but is mostly a very calm boy who loves nothing more than a snuggle in his bed. He does like his walks, but doesn't need much more than about 20-30 mins per day.
Bo is indoor and outdoor cat tolerant! He isn't worried about the cat after initial introductions and was often almost tripping over the cat when in foster care. Frankie the cat would tell him off for almost stepping on her and he would have a little sulk.
Bo would like some company, as he doesn't like being outside alone... However we heard from his foster carers neighbour that the performance he would give when put outside stops once he knows there's no one home. He will whine and look sadly at the door in the hope that he can come back into his own bed... We have done a little crate training with Bo, but he is just as content to curl up on his own bed in the lounge room or wherever that may be. Sometimes he will take himself out to the office where a spare bed always awaits a hound who wants a snooze in peace.
Bo spent some time in foster care with other greyhounds and a kelpie (2 different foster homes to test his cat tolerance). During his stay with the Kelpie, he learnt to play, so now likes his toys and will try to join in playtime with the other hounds. He does like to be a snuggle-bug though and would love to curl up against you for a snuggle on the couch if allowed.

We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet. The meet and greet MAY be conducted at the time of the home visit, however this will be discussed with each family.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
