About Jai
Jai is our resident chunky monkey! He weighs in at a cool 38kg... Even though he isn't the biggest hound, he is solid. He just turned 6yrs old (in July 2019), so isn't a puppy, but he plays with his toys like he is still a pup. He loves toys and will amuse himself for quite a while with a squeaky one.
He is looking for a home as a single dog or with another large dog as a companion. As long as he has some snacks to nibble on & some toys to play with, Jai is quite happy to keep himself occupied while you leave... But he will gladly greet you home with his big voice. For this reason, we think Jai will need a home with a yard. ;)
If your looking for a spunky, chunky boy who has lots of spark then Jai is just waiting to meet you!
UPDATE: Jai has learnt to sit on command!!! Of course, he isn't silly enough to do it unless you have a treat handy. Jai is crafty like that and he can tell whether you're holding a treat or not, so as long as you keep the treats handy he will sit like a champ!

We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet. The meet and greet MAY be conducted at the time of the home visit, however this will be discussed with each family.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
