About Baby
This is Baby. She is a social distancing superstar.
She will not permit any pats or hugs and doesn't like anyone getting too close, as she prefers to maintain appropriate social distancing boundaries. And she will usually let you know if you have invaded her personal space, with a little hiss or meow. She even keeps her distance from the TV just in case those digital people forget the 1.5 metre rule.
Baby loves isolating indoors. Her favourite activity is sleeping. Under the couch or under the bed are the best spots if she needs extra social distancing protection. But she much prefers the couches - spending a heap of time on the couch in the lounge if no one is home, and heading to the couch in the spare room if someone using the lounge.
Her second favourite activity is watching everything outside the window. She enjoys seeing the people and cars go by, and keeps an eye on the birds if they settle in across the road.
Baby does admit isolating can get a bit lonely, and she will call out for a chat sometimes. But she is only after conversation, not attention.
Baby's ideal home is one in which she is allowed to continue her social distancing ways, even after it is no longer required by the Government. For her, the best owners would be those who are happy to sit on the couch on the lounge, while leaving her to sleep under it.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
