About Candice
Hello, my name is Candice, but you can call me Candy.
I'm a very shy little girl. So shy I only come out of my cozy nest, under
the blanket, at night when no-one is around. I've been living with my
foster parents for about a month, which isn't very long for a shy girl
like me to get used to the changes.
I'm a gentle, polite girl, no hisses or growls from me and if you are very
gentle I'll let you stroke me and may even give a tiny purr.
At night I like to look around my foster room, I would go further but
foster mum says I must not hide under the sofa, or behind the fridge, as
she cannot stroke me there, so mum shuts the door at night.
Mum put a camera in my room to see what I get up to at night and she knows
that I am coming out for a look around a lot more now than I did at first.
I think I'm getting used to this place, and I love the food they leave out
for me. As soon as all is quiet and the lights are off, I creep out and
check out my yummy supper.
Foster mum sits in the room and talks to me during the day, I just listen
to her but one day I may come out and say hello. I just need more time.
If you are a very patient, quiet, and gentle person, I may be the perfect
kittie for you. You can come and peep under the blanket at me in my foster
home in Hillarys.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
