About Hope
Hope is a happy friendly girl. She loves people and is great with kids. She will even cope with lively kids and seems to like boys in particular. She is easy to walk on lead. She is social with other small dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the household. She came with huge bilateral inguinal hernias which have been surgically repaired. She has been desexed and also had mammary tumour removal and is feeling so much better now. It has been a lot for an old granny, but she is such a sweetheart! She has short coat and weighs 6.9kg, somewhat overweight.
Suit Home Based Worker or Doggie Pal: Unable to cope alone and has shown signs of separation anxiety. Needs human company or other dog pals.
Good with Kids: Shown to be good with kids in the controlled environment of the Shelter.
Apartment Friendly: Could cope in an apartment environment. Regular walks or use of an artificial grass patch is suggested.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
