About Willow
Willow is a young stock coat black and gold female German Shepherd in care at Penrith.
This gentle family dog is only 10 months old and has grown up around young children. Willow is learning her basic obedience but knows sit and drop and is fully house trained and an excellent car traveller.
This gentle natured black and gold German Shepherd is in excellent health and her former owner has had to make the difficult decision to part with her due to her work commitments.
Willow grew up with her best fur friend who sadly has passed away so we know she would be a good companion dog for a friendly male dog of similar size
Willow has yet to be tested with cats. Willow has grown up with young children and is classified as a snugly lap dog who can be completely trusted with dog savvy children.

Medical notes
Willow has been desexed, fully immunised and has been wormed and flea treated.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
