About Jersey
Jersey is your typical fun loving lab…. Ok ok, so not so much lab – more Collie. But, she loves life and food like a typical lab.
Jersey is 4 months old and is still very much a puppy in training. She is toilet trained, and has learnt to sit. She gets on well with other dogs (has a foster brother and sister) and has learnt how to play with them. Jersey is good around kids, but because of her breed will require a family who is active and can keep up with her. Jersey will sit and wait for food and has beautiful manners. She is crate trained and will sleep in her crate all night without issue.
Jersey loves running around the yard with the kids and dogs, loves a good game of tug-o-war and when she is done will happily pass out on your lap, or the lounge. She love cuddles and sneaks onto the bed when allowed.
Because of her age Jersey will require further training and a home where an older dog can teach her how to continue with her good behaviour. Jersey is a beautiful little girl who would love a home that will give her lots of love, stimulation and include her in their family trips.
Adoption details
Please go to the website http://www.rescuealabrador.com/
to submit an adoption application. Please click on the adopt a dog link on the left hand side of the screen and complete the questions if you are interested in adopting aLabrador.
We will not discuss specific dogs with you until you have completed this questionnaire as this allows us to establish which dogs are potential matches for your lifestyle.
Once we have found a suitable match to your family, we will allow you to contact the appropriate foster carer who will discuss the dog in more detail with you.
Once you are both satisfied that this is a good match you will be able to meet the Lab. If all goes well, you will be able to take the dog on a 2 week trial. You will complete the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee at this stage.
At the end of the 2 week trial you will be able to adopt the Lab and we will submit the microchip transfer to the council.
