About Cassie
Cassie aka Sassy Cassie is 10 years old and an absolute sweet heart. She loves human attention and will chirrup (squeak and meow) to talk to you and demand pats. She is pretty quiet but can hold a decent conversation. She especially loves scratches at the base of her tail and will headbutt you and look adorable until you comply. She doesn't like to be picked up but is getting more confident with sitting on laps. She just needs time and your patience while she settles in.
Cassie may try to nip every once in a while, she has yet to actually bite her foster parents, but she doesn't seem to be trying very hard so it's easy to get out of the way. Sometimes she gives a warning hiss or bats you away with her paw (no claws) so you know to give her some "me time."
Cassie found herself at Cat Haven when her owner went into aged care. She has been really well cared for her whole life. She would suit families with older children or adult only homes. She is a strong independent woman and is totally fine to spend some time by herself while you are at work.
Added cuteness: Cassie has one orange toe bean while the rest are brown.
Come and visit her at her foster home in Joondalup if you want to see for yourself.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
