About Beautiful Molly
MOLLY'S PROFILE HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT THE PROGRESS THIS AMAZING LITTLE LADY HAS MADE IN THE LAST MONTH.
Molly is a shy, sweet natured, 8 year old girl who is looking for her furever home. Molly adores her hoomans and loves to receive affection. Her favourite time of the day is her morning and afternoon walks. This little lady gets quite excited when her harness comes out. Molly walks very well on lead and harness, and does not pull or react to other doggies while enjoying her stroll.
Molly is a digger at times so if your garden is important to you, Molly isn’t the Goldie for your family. She can be pretty proud of her landscaping skills! As with all Goldies, Molly does require secure high fencing.
Although Molly gets on very well with other dogs she does not play or interact with them. ‘In your face’ doggies can also make Molly a little uncomfortable. Her confidence has now reached a point where we feel having another dog in residence is not a must. Molly has certainly become a “people dog” and loves to be around her family all the time. Therefore, if she were to be placed in an only dog family, we would be looking favourably at a retired/semiretired, work from home or similar type environment so she would not be alone for long periods of time. She has had the company of her foster brother since coming into care but in recent weeks has been venturing out on our own with her carer and has coped very well.
Molly travels very well in the car but does need assistance getting in and out. She loves going to the groomers for a bath and blow dry!
Molly is on a great quality diet, both dry and raw, as well as supplements.
When Molly first came into care, she could not cope with stairs at all. However in the past month with the help of her foster carers, she has been more confident walking up and down a few stairs. We feel with continued work and commitment of her new family, she will soon adjust to a home with some stairs. In saying this, potential forever homes with will be assessed on a case by case basis and dependent on overall layout.
Taking into account all of the above, including Molly’s landscaping abilities, if you feel that you can offer Molly a safe, committed and compassionate family life, we would love to hear from you.
Molly has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm & intestinal wormed, flea & tick treated, and her adoption fee is $550. She is available for adoption in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast only. We do not adopt in regional Qld, Interstate or overseas. Molly is being currently fostered in Brisbane.
