About Wozza
Hello and welcome to Wozza's profile. Wozza is a five-year-old boy with a grumpy exterior but with a heart of gold. He has been in foster care for eight months now and he's finally ready for adoption.
Wozza is such a confident boy and rarely leaves anyone's side. He prefers to be in the same room as someone and will follow you into the bathroom. He likes receiving pats and scratches but not too much or he might nip your fingers.
Wozza came into Cat Haven as a stray and soon went into foster care after becoming frustrated with the small space he was given. His fur was in bad condition, covered in sores that irritated him. It took a while before his coat became fully soft again, but he will need to be on delicate care for the rest of his life to ensure his skin allergy doesn't break out like that again, this also means he cannot have any human food or treats. After the skin allergy was maintained Wozza's teeth needed maintaining as well, it took a long time, but he had a total of four teeth removed and hopefully made him more comfortable. Lastly, he also has FIV+ which can be transferred between cats by deep wound bites, it would be recommended if Wozza was either the only cat in the household or with another cat with FIV+. He has not been with other animals but has felt uncomfortable when he sees or hears other dogs/cats nearby.
Contact Cat Haven to meet Wozza at his foster home in East Victoria Park and he'll greet you at the door.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
