About Denise
Are you wanting a gentle and affectionate well mannered German Shepherd then Denise could be the girl for you. This seven and a half year old desexed female German Shepherd came into care from a Sydney Animal Shelter following the dreadful hailstorm.
The violent storm no doubt caused her to flee her yard and try and seek shelter which eventually brought her into the hands of Rangers. Denise’s owner failed to collect her and this gentle and sweet natured dog sat and waited out her time at the pound before we took her into care.
Denise is a grey sable stock coated German Shepherd who has shown us her gentle nature and we can see she is seeking a home as a companion dog for a couple who will love her and include her in their daily routine.
Easy to manage on lead Denise needs to connect with another human to regain her trust and to settle back into a normal home environment.
Denise is yet to be tested with pocket pets or cats but her soft nature would indicate she would not have a high prey drive to chase. We are looking for a home where she has inclusion in the home and is provided with a daily walk.
If you want a dog who virtually understands what you say to them, will allow the dog to sit beside you while you watch tv and who would enjoy a walk around the block, then consider Denise.
If you think you can give this lovely older girl a home, please contact us via the "Enquire about this Pet".
Medical notes
Denise is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. She will be hydro bathed and wormed and with her own new doona dog bed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
