About Bonnita
Bonnita or Bonnie as she is known is a gorgeous long haired border collie. Sadly her second owner lived close to a highway so felt she couldn't keep her safe with out fences.
Bonnie has grown up around other dogs and has seen cats through windows and glass doors and has not reacted. She is a really sweet girl that need to relearn what love is. It is clear that she hasn't had a positive life so far and so we are teaching her all the joys that life can bring!
She loves attention! oh my lord she is loving all the pats and love that she has been getting. She will also sleep on your lap curled up like a little teddy bear! Really really adorable and hard to resist not wanting to boop her snoot!
She will need a home with good fencing and someone willing to continue her training. She has not had any boundaries or training and though we are teaching her the basics ( and she is such a quick learner) She will need this to continue so she can be the best dog she can be.
Bonnita was starved by her first owner as so guards her food. This is a natural response if you have been starved most of your life! She is not aggressive, simply growls when another dog comes too close. This does not mean she needs to be an only dog, simply people need to be conscious of feeding the dogs separately and in a routine so that she never fears being starved again!
She will make a truely sweet addition to the family and with the right owner, she will be the best thing that happened to you!
We don't want this girl to continue to be bounced around so we are looking for her forever home only.
