About Gilmore
Hello there, my name is Gilmor (Gizmo I also like). My foster mum tells me that I am the happiest most purry little cat she has ever met, and it's true I really am! I purr when I'm looked at, spoken to and definitely when I'm stroked. Now I can be a little unsure of hands so I will need some time to trust you. But I will rub myself up against you and I love rubbing my head on your face, if you will let me! My foster mum also wants me to let you know that I like to trot along beside you, getting my nose into everything that you are doing and this means that you might trip over me. Sorry! I just want to be with you so much.
I am not quite a lap cat yet but I will let you into a little secret, I really really want to be one. I will lie very close to you and when I really start to trust you I will start to get closer and closer. It will start with my paw touching you, then my head. I'm also starting to enjoy lying on beds at night.
As well as being a purr machine I also LOVE playing with hair ties and cat wands. I'm very acrobatic!!
Because I'm a little bit wary of sudden noises (I will hide if you sneeze more than once for example and don't get me started on vacuum cleaners!!) I think I'd best suit a home with no little humans. Lovely big friendly adults for me please! I'm ready and waiting to meet you in Mt Lawley.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
