About Celina
At approximately 40cm tall and 16kg, Celina is the perfect size for anybody, from first-time dog owners to families with children. Catahoula x ACD may sound like a scary mix but this cutie is anything but!
All this gorgeous girl wants to do is cuddle and play! She is very people-oriented and loves spending time with her humans. She reckons she’s small enough to be a lap dog and loves nothing more than getting pats as she rests her head in your lap. She greets her humans home by excitedly leaping as high as she can but she doesn’t always land on her feet 😅 She does a great job of entertaining herself when she’s home alone too. She LOVES bouncy balls and can play with them for hours.
She responds well to training and knows ‘sit’ and ‘shake’. She’s okay on a lead but has a bad habit of getting distracted during her walks, which can be easily fixed by calling her name. She is trained not to jump up on beds and sleeps inside on a doggie bed. She is currently being trained not to jump on people but tends to forget when she gets too excited, although she is getting much better at it. She has a soft bark that she very rarely uses, which makes her perfect for those with pesky neighbours 😉
It’s obvious that Celina hasn’t been socialised much growing up but she plays well with our resident (large) dog and is fine around cats. It only takes her about a day to get used to new furry friends but we highly recommend supervised introductions.
Celina makes it very hard not to fall in love with her at first sight with her sweet, friendly nature. Please send us a message if you’d like to meet her!
