Callisto is a gorgeous boy who is great with new people and just wants affection. He follows his foster carers wherever they go and wants to be close to all the action. He loves to lounge on the couch and be a part of the family, enjoying pats and purring contentedly.
He is a kind and gentle boy but does not cope well with toddlers and if he was to go to a home with kids he will need his own space where he can chill and have some kid-free time.
Callisto is litter trained and used to living indoors.
Not tested with other cats, but should be fine with slow introductions.
Adopting a cat kitten from Sydney Fox Rescue is essentially a three step process:
1. Fill out an adoption form and send it back to us with an email outlining anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our cats are indoor cats only, and should be outdoors only in an approved cat enclosure. We work hard to take these guys off the street and offer them a lifetime of care and comfort. The average outdoor cat lives to only 4 compared to 13 for indoor cats.
2. Come along to meet us at the shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
3. Before you can pick up your new kitten you need to prepare, this includes: paying your adoption fee, setting up a bed, toys and scratching post and stocking up on kitten food. Ask us about a shopping list for your new family member.
