About Duchess
Hi, my name is Duchess and I am the tabby kitten and this is my brother Duke. We love playing with each other, so we must be adopted together. We are both 5 months old and were picked up from the local council as strays.
We have been with our foster mum since we were 3 months old. She says that we have come a very long way in that time, from the first week hiding under the bed and hissing at everyone to now following our foster mum around, sitting beside her to watch TV and meowing to have rubs. Have you watched my video? I love having rubs under the chin.
I am the more confident kitten and Duke is still a little nervous around loud sounds, he prefers nice slow gentle rubs and is not too keen on being picked up, but I will often jump up onto my foster mum's lap and force my face into her hands for extra cuddles.
My brother Duke will not like to be chased by small children so a home with older teenagers would be best. We both love the scratching post and play with all the toys, we especially love chasing ribbons around. We sleep on our foster mum's bed with her at night snuggled up all nice and warm. .
When we do move into our new home we will probably need a few weeks to get used to you, so a nice quiet room would be best at first. We are currently in Craigie if you would like to come and meet us. We might be a little shy when you arrive but my foster mum has so many videos to show you.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
