About Marley
INTERSTATE ADOPTION IS ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS
PLEASE EMAIL ME IN THE FIRST INSTANCE (PLEASE DON'T CALL AS I CAN'T ALWAYS ANSWER MY PHONE) TELL ME ALL ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR LIFESTYLE AND ABOUT YOUR OTHER DOG AND I WILL REPLY WITHIN 2 DAYS.
Marley is a 4 year old smooth coat Chihuahua and the following description is from his previous owner.
Marley is a beautiful little boy, quite smart and full of character. Marley has had some basic training, is generally a quiet dog and he loves playing with you and his toys. Marley also loves to snuggle under blankets and is known to sneak into your bedroom or favourite chair if allowed but generally he sleeps inside and has his own bed which is located in the lounge/living room. Marley also loves sunbaking by the window or some outdoor time during the day via his doggie door. Marley is also quite happy pottering around with you in the yard or garden.
Marley has not lived with any other dogs or cats but he loves cuddles and is generally sociable however he much prefers company with adults and much older children. Marley does seem a little anxious around toddlers/small children who are very excited and loud and does not feel comfortable with excited puppies either.
Marley loves the dog park so he can be off lead and have a wander around and he also loves his walks he is comfortable walking with other dogs (except with puppies).
Marley is used to having someone at home during the day but does tend to be OK when left alone - he is toilet trained and has his own doggie door for which he uses as he pleases.
If you have had Chi's before and understand their little quirks and are retired and are still active, as Marley is a young dog he is not suitable for the elderly or non active people.
A retired couple living by the sea would be ideal for him.

Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
