About Lola
Lola is a super sweet girl who is eager to please and wears her heart on her sleeve. Nothing beats her huge smile and happy tail wag when she welcomes you home ❤️ She loves human company and will ask for pets and belly rubs but is not bothered when left by herself.
Lola loves exploring new places and would be perfect for a family who loves to travel with a canine companion! She knows basic commands like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘shake’, ‘down’ and ‘go crate’, walks well on a lead (and LOVES going for walks) and knows not to jump on furniture. She sleeps in a crate and wakes up when her humans do.
Lola is the kind of dog who needs to growl it out when she first meets other dogs, particularly those larger than her. She became fast friends with a smaller male dog when she first came into care. It took her a few more days to get used to larger dogs, but she got there and now won’t leave them alone! She is very playful with other dogs and loves a good game of chase.
She is unreactive to cats and is happy to let them rub up against her. She is not used to kittens so we don’t recommend leaving her unsupervised with them.
Lola is a bit on the chubby side but she’s starting to form a waistline thanks to all the exercise and playtime she’s had while in care. She’s a small girl and is only about 20kg.
Please send us a message if you’d like to meet this sweetheart!
