About Jedda Dingo
Hi my name is Jedda, don't let my funny smile put you off! I'm not growling, that's just how my lip looks, I've actually had 2 surgeries now to repair it since arriving at the shelter.
I'm a 2 year old alpine dingo, but I'm very small for my breed! You could say I'm fun sized! In fact I'm the smallest dingo the rescue has ever had in care. I had a bad start to life, and when I arrived in care I weighed just 5.4kg (I'm a healthy 14kg now). My rescuers think my short statue is due to poor nutrition at my first home before I was rescued.
I can be timid at first, but I love people and food is the way to my heart, I do need a home that understands it can take me quite some time to get used to strangers and I may just want to hide in a safe place at first till I feel confident enough to make friends. I'm a gentle sweet heart and I love pats and belly rubs once I get to know you. My fluffy tail never stops wagging when my favorite humans are around.
I am fantastic with other dogs, but really big dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me at first, so a home with medium dogs like me would be best.
Kids are ok provided they are old enough to understand my need for space when I get scared (over 5), my sister lives with a family with two kids and sleeps on the bed every night now. I'd love a family of my own like hers.
I would be best in a home without cats, birds or pocket pets.
Even though I am a high content dingo my small size and short legs means I don't need as taller fences as most other dingoes. My new home will need at least a 1.6m secure fence (colourbond or palings) or a secure dog run.

2. We will email you back adoption information and an application form to fill out and return to us.
3. If your application is approved- Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Camden shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
4. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
