About Big Bam
I am a fluffy boy who needs some confidence to get along with humans.
My first night in my new home was very stressful. I was at the shelter for a long time and didn't know what to expect at my new place. But, my foster parents were really kind in setting up food, fresh water and litter in a separate room where I could slowly come out of my shell.
My biggest dislike is, I don't like being touched. I may hiss at you as well.
When my foster parents get up in the morning, I like to follow them around (from a distance obviously) and observe them. After finishing my brekkie, I just roam around the house or follow the resident cat who leads the way. I sometimes sit next to the glass windows and watch birds and other cats that come over to my place. After that, I take a nap and wake up at night.
At night, I like to run around the house to release my energy.
My meow is little broken squeaks. When my foster parents meow, I do the little broken squeaks again. I like to sit at the entrance of the kitchen and observe my foster parents working.
I also like to sit outside the glass window and stare outside all day. I don't have any favourite toy yet as I get too scared.
My favourite treat is Dine Creamy treats. As long as you don't touch me while I am enjoying my treat, it's all good.
In short, I am still getting used to living in house with humans who give me enough attention. As I've never had any love from humans before, I am finding it a bit hard to get used to it.
I may come up as a big aggressive cat, but deep inside, I am a marshmallow.
At this stage, I don't like being touched, but I am still working on trusting my foster parents.
I either hide or run away when I see anyone approaching me including my foster parents. Hence, I would like not to approach me at this stage. But, I am slowly learning to come out of my shell.
Do you think you could give a fellow like me the second chance I've been waiting for? I was very stressed at the shelter so now I've gone to a foster home.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
