About Peppa
Peppa is a seven month old full black stock coat pure bred German Shepherd who is in care at Roselands.
Peppa was purchased as an eight week old puppy by a couple who realised they didn’t have the ability to adequately care for her. Peppa is now in a foster home with three other dogs and is just such a happy social puppy.
Her foster carer is teaching her manners and she is such a quick learner. Peppa is completely house trained and voice responsive with an argh if she just looks like being mischievous. Playing with a mini foxy female, kelpie and Shepherd Peppa would require plenty of stimulation and daily exercise.
Peppa is a quick learner and is now good to walk on lead and will sit, drop and has good recall. Peppa is not good with cats or pocket pets pets as she shows too much interest.
This gorgeous girl needs just the right home and ideally an active experienced dog family with older children.
For more information on Peppa please contact Linda on 0497 398 062.
Medical notes
Peppa will come with a desexing voucher to ensure she is desexed prior to 12 months of age which is the preferred age to desex a female large breed dog. She comes fully immunised and with a full vet history.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
