About Tom
Tom arrived into care as a very frightened kitty who did nothing but hide. A few weeks down the track and this guy turns out to be a chatty little bugger!
He absolutely loves spending time in our outdoor cat enclosure and will let us know if he thinks he’s been wrongfully brought back inside when there’s still 15 minutes left of the sun for him to enjoy 😤 He’ll follow us from room to room while giving his impassioned speech and will spend the rest of the day sulking in his little spot on the cat tower.
The only thing Tom loves more than the outdoor enclosure is food, and he’ll yell at us from across the house if he hears a can being opened. We’ve been tricking him into socialising with the other kitties during meal times and it works! He’s still a bit scared of dogs but he now seems unbothered by the other cats. He’s happy to walk around the house when the dogs are outside and will stay in his hidey spot when they are inside.
Tom is currently living in Caboolture. Please contact us if you’d like to meet him!
