About Elsa
Elsa is a gentle affectionate girl. She walks nicely on loose lead and ignoring cars and other dogs. She enjoys cuddles, pats, belly rubs and jumps up to lick your face! She is social with other dogs. Elsa is protective of her food. She came from the pound very timid and poor skin condition. We have cleared up her skin and ear infections. She is on a low allergy diet with amazing results. She has a short coat and weighs 35.2kg.
Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
Unfortunately, some rescue dogs have been physically abused, neglected and left traumatised. These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitating traumatised dogs with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
