About Precious
Precious is a delightful young cat, pure white and very friendly to all. She will greet you when you enter then after some love she'll settle in a comfy spot and relax, preferably with you. She is a low-maintenance cat both in personality and grooming requirements and has been a delightful family member.
Precious was one of 3 mums who all had litters together & mixed up the kittens - many of them gravitated to her so she fed more than she gave birth to. That would be a testament to her loving nature and calm personality.
We think Precious would be happy either as an only pet with human love and attention or to have furry company. She is very laid-back in that respect.
Precious was adopted by a loving family but a sad thing happened when the new baby developed an allergy to her and she had to be brought back. Before that she was a good girl and did not want to get into the baby's bed or sit on his pile of clean washing. She loved her adult family a lot more.
**PRECIOUS comes with a $40 Voucher from Edgewater Vet for anything at all from consult or next year's vaccination to surgery.**
For her safety and your own peace of mind Precious must be an indoor-only cat, although a secure cat enclosure would be a wonderful bonus for her. But an enriched household (with cat towers, scratchers & plenty of toys), some good window seats & views of outside perhaps with a screen door or window to look through & sniff the breeze, and lots of attention should be adequate.
Located in Yanchep.
Medical notes
Precious has a clean bill of health. She is up to date with worming, has had her annual vaccinations & is microchipped and desexed. She is being fed a high quality diet and we will ask the adoptive family to continue feeding a similar quality.
Adoption details
When you see the picture, read the profile & think "This is the one!" I want to hear from you! Please message me with your email address so I can send you an application form. Although it's important for these adoptees to find their forever homes asap, there will be an informal interview process to see if you both match. This is the difference between adopting & buying and it serves the really important purpose of keeping you together for life. All family members will be included in the adoption process. Everyone counts.
1. Message me.
2. I send you an Application form via email.
3. I will phone you.
4. Meet & greet.
5. 2 week (or more) trial adoption.
6. You have a new family member!
The adoption fee shown on each listing mainly covers the cost of the vetwork needed before adoption & it allows rescue continuity. It is seriously much cheaper to adopt from a rescue than to get a "Free to good home" & organise all the vetwork yourself.
Once it's been decided that you will trial your possible family member, you will complete the adoption form, pay the fee & take him/her home to see for sure that the fit is right. The settling in process can take some time or it may be almost instant. If after a while (around 2 weeks) it becomes apparant that the chemistry just isn't there, the animal can be returned for a full refund. Please be aware that this is not a failure for either you or the adoptee. It simply didn't work & there is no blame.
If the adoption goes ahead but some unforseen circumstance rises in the future, near or far, where you must be separated, your pet MUST be returned to PRAAS; not rehomed by yourself. We have rescued that animal & we need to know that he/she is safe for the rest of its life. It may be that you have a wonderful next home to move them to, in which case please let us know.
If the animal is returned to us at this later stage there is no refund.
