About Tyson
MC - 956000000984605
Located South Kingville area of Melb.
Meet the gorgeous 10 year old Tyson.
At the ripe old age of 10, Tyson found himself abandoned in a country pound. When his time in the pound was up, he was rescued by a great shelter. The shelter attended to all his medical needs, gave him a warm bed and fed him well.
But Tyson was miserable. He didn’t know what was expected of him or how he was supposed to behave with so many other dogs around him in enclosures barking. He was unsure of their intentions, so he barked right back at them and acted like he was the toughest dog around.
When his LR foster mum met him for the first time, he was acting very tough, but she knew that he was just confused and scared.
Tyson went home with his new foster mum, met his 5 new foster siblings and very quickly realised he wasn’t in any danger and all that was expected of him were basic manners and lots of cuddles.
Tyson thrived. He learned how to take himself in and out of the house through the doggie door so he didn’t have accidents inside. He learned how to share beds and toys and best of all lay quietly in front of the fire in the evenings. He saw his brothers sitting and waiting for their meals and followed suit. Tyson has been exposed to children and has shown to be gentle and relaxed with them. Tyson is now with a different foster family and is still thriving. He has a new fur sister and when he is not relaxing he plays nicely with her.
Tyson has been exposed to cats, chooks and rabbits but he ignores them because he’s too busy relaxing.
Tyson is now ready to find his forever home. If you are looking for an older gentleman who likes to be inside, have lots of pats and cuddles and lay on a comfy bed, Tyson just may be the boy you’re looking for.
Tyson is located in the South Kingville area of Melbourne and is available for adoption. Tyson comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and intestinal worm treated with a ton of love and a gorgeous smile for the right family for a re-homing fee of $300.00.
Adoption details
Please go to the website http://www.rescuealabrador.com/
to submit an adoption application. Please click on the adopt a dog link on the left hand side of the screen and complete the questions if you are interested in adopting aLabrador.
We will not discuss specific dogs with you until you have completed this questionnaire as this allows us to establish which dogs are potential matches for your lifestyle.
Once we have found a suitable match to your family, we will allow you to contact the appropriate foster carer who will discuss the dog in more detail with you.
Once you are both satisfied that this is a good match you will be able to meet the Lab. If all goes well, you will be able to take the dog on a 2 week trial. You will complete the adoption paperwork and pay the adoption fee at this stage.
At the end of the 2 week trial you will be able to adopt the Lab and we will submit the microchip transfer to the council.
