About Bean ~ 5 year old Staffy X (on trial 27/8/19)
Introducing the incredible Mr Bean who is available to be adopted into a very lucky family. Bean is a male 5 year old Staffy x who is a joy to be with. He's completely house trained, is great on lead and has amazing recall when off lead. He also is a little cuddle monster who loves nothing more than to just be curled up next to you. He has the sweetest and most gentle demeanour we cannot understand why he hasn't found his forever home yet.
Bean is great with children and would make a wonderful family dog, but would need someone home at times during the day as he can get upset if left alone for too long. His ideal home would be with a retired couple, so he can enjoy companionship and a quieter life. He currently sleeps indoors either in his bed or curled up at his carers feet with our other dog.
Beam is extremely dog friendly but like most dogs he gets along better with new dogs when off lead. He isn't too sure of cats and hasn't been tested with pocket pets.
A few years back Bean under surgery to repair a slipped disc, and even though you wouldn't think anything ever happened he does need to be encouraged to take it easy from time to time. This can be hard when he is completely ball obsessed and would happily have you playing fetch all day long!
For more information or to meet Bean, please contact his foster carer Rebecca on rebeccahenderson1991@gmail.com Bean is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
