What more can you ask for?!
Spock is an 18 month old male Australian Cattle Dog x Bullmastiff who is on the lookout for a family to call his own!
He would be perfect for an active family looking for an intelligent furry friend to go on adventures with. He LOVES playing fetch, tug of war and wrestling with similar sized canine friends. He is obsessed with car rides and will jump straight in as soon as you open the door. He is quite strong on a lead so a confident handler is recommended.
He has grown up around cats and is not bothered by them at all. Typical of neutered males, he is not a big fan of entire males but is currently living with two neutered males who he absolutely loves playing with. He has been around young children and is very gentle with them, although supervision is highly recommended due to his size and strength. He has always lived in average suburban sized yards and had no trouble adjusting upon coming into care.
He knows basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘shake’. He is a bright boy and a fast learner, but is treat oriented. We’ve learned that the best way to keep him mentally stimulated without overfeeding him is by turning a simple game of fetch into a little puzzle - he has to choose a specific toy out of the toy basket, place it at a specific spot (eg on the ground or in our lap), and he has to move back, sit and wait on the grass before the toy will be thrown for him to fetch. The rules change everyday and it’s amazing how quickly he figures them out!
Spock is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped & ready for his forever home! He is located in Buderim. Send us an email if you’d like to meet him 😊

Adoption details
The adoption process consists of two simple steps:
1. A questionnaire sent via email
2. A face to face meet
We understand that sometimes things just don't work out and accept returns within 14 days of adoption. We will refund the adoption fee, minus a $20 admin fee. Please bear in mind that space is extremely limited and one less space in our home equals one more cat on the streets or in the pound.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations, microchips, desexing fees, and flea and worm treatments.
We reserve the right to reject an application at any stage and will inform you if and why this happens.
