This is TOMMY a very happy and loving boy with the typical Staffy personality. He smiles all the time and wants to please his humans. Tommy may also have some kelpie in his mix.
Tommy has a lovely nature and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. But he is a big strong boy with massive amounts of energy so would suit a mature family as he would be too strong for little ones. Tommy hasn't shown any interest in trying to jump fences or escape but as with any active dog, there should be good strong fencing at his new home.
Tommy has very basic training and wants a family who is committed to continuing his training and socialisation. He is learning quickly in his foster home and is very eager to please. He knows how to wait for his dinner, and is now walking well on leash. When first rescued Tommy would try and jump up on people, but his foster carer is training him out of this and he has learnt that this jumping up is unacceptable.
Unknown with small animals but shows too much interest and would probably chase given the opportunity.
If you can offer Tommy a loving home where he will be part of the family living as an inside/outside dog and you have the time and patience to settle a rescue dog into your home, he would love to hear from you. He has so much potential and love to give to a family.
Tommy is in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW. All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.
If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please email us at email@example.com with a brief description of the family home you can offer - the number of adults and children in the home, other pets, how long the animal would be left on its own each day, whether your fencing is secure and so on.
Please then follow up with a phone call to Mariette on 0404491918 or Debra on 0412 698 117 and we will put you in touch with the animal's foster carer.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
