About Buddha
Buddha is our gentle giant of the litter. He is the largest of all his siblings and has a sweet, calm nature about him. He does spend time with his brothers and sisters and adores his mum, but equally adores his foster humans and will quite often come and just sit with you while the rest continue playing in the yard.
Buddha would greatly benefit from Obedience Club and a committed owner who will continue on with training and allow him to be the best he can be. He enjoys going for walks but the world is still a scary place for him so his new owners will need to help boost his confidence while on walks.
Buddha drew the short straw with both breeds when it comes to cats, having the prey drive of a Aussie Bulldog and the working dog instinct of a Border Collie, he needs to go to a home without cats.He has been heavily socialised with cats since 8 weeks of age and even with his foster carers cats fighting back and giving him a tap on the nose with their paws, he isn't learning so for the sanity and safety of our feline friends, a no cat home.
Buddha enjoys having doggy friends so we are looking for a home that has a female dog for company preferably of the same size. He has been fostered with senior dogs and has proven he is too high energy for them, so no senior dogs. No rural or farm fencing, he will soon enough work out how to escape and go on his own adventures.
He has been around kids of varying ages and has shown he isn't a fan of young kids, so ideally kids 10 and up.
Buddha is crate trained and sleeps in a crate overnight.
