On Hold
Tall and gangly, Timmy does not look like your classic greyhound but what he lacks in looks, he makes up in kindness.
Timmy never made it as a race dog, having only seven starts without a win and since his racing retirement in mid 2015, Timmy has basically spent his time as a kennel dog without exposure to the outside wide world. When Timmy eventually was placed at Gippsland Greyhounds, the poor lad was in a state of “shell shock” unaware of his new surroundings and his new fur buddies but give him credit that within the first week, he adapted to the routine, he loved his walks, learnt to eat a good meal, started to go outside for his ablutions, mingled with the other dogs and even started to play with furry toys.
Considering his past life, Timmy is still a work in progress but the signs are there that he has a lot of love and affection to give out. Being a quiet reserved dog, we do feel that Timmy would best be suited to a household where he would the only dog.
TIMMY IS NOT CAT TOLERANT
