About Mack
Introducing our happy and personable Mack. Mack is a 6 year old Alaskan Malamute who enjoys meeting new people and loves life - he's a chatterbox at times and will introduce himself to anyone!
Mack's favourite place is in the car - he jumps in to any car as soon as the door is opened and sits there politely waiting to be your co-pilot. He would suit someone who drives a lot socially or for work and can take him with them. If you are a retired single or couple who enjoys driving holidays then he may be the pooch for you. He may also suit a family with older kids who enjoy road trips.
Mack enjoys his walks - he will chatter in excitement when you start and he walks quite well on lead considering his large size. He's inquisitive and loves to stick his nose into everything as he explores the neighbourhood with you. He has good basic manners - he will sit and drop and give you an enthusiastic paw shake and high five. He takes treat rewards nicely however he isn't totally food focused as he loves your praise and affection just as much.
Mack would be fine as an only dog or he may suit being matched with another female doggy companion. As with most of our arctics we'd suggest a home without cats, pocket pets or chickens. Mack doesn't need an overly big yard however he does love rolling around on the grass and giving himself a good back-scratch so if you have a grassy yard he'd love to frolic in it. He will love to join his humans inside the home and will lay at your feet contentiy enjoying your companionship.
If you are looking for an attentive and loving boy who is a great mix of easy-going and happy energy (and just a little bit of a dufus at times!) then please contact us about Mack.
Medical notes
Mack has been vet checked and appears in good health.
