We would like to introduce the gentle and ethereal Luna.
Luna is a glorious mackerel tabby with luminous golden eyes. She is a friendly inquisitive cat who loves to follow you around, paying attention to whatever you are doing and seeing if you need any help (which you inevitably do, you are merely human after all). She’s not a lap cat but she adores pats and she will purr loudly as she supervises you and evaluates your chore performance.
This sweet gentle girl was once a typical crazy kitten but life took an unfortunate turn. She was adopted by a wonderful couple who already had an elderly deaf cat. Luna would play, like mad kittens do, but the other cat would get startled and lash out at Luna. It was clear that the relationship was not working for either cat and sweet Luna became very sad and withdrawn. After unsuccessfully trying to resolve the situation her family felt there was no alternative and Luna returned to Flossies.
Luna took a little time to come out of her shell, on her return to Flossies, as she was unsure how to interact with other cats but now she enjoys a stroll through the rescue pausing to watch the world go by or curling up for a nap in a favourite spot. She gets on well with other cats although she will sometimes put exuberant kittens firmly in their place.
When she gazes at you with those mesmerising eyes your heart will melt. She would suit a quiet home where, if she is given the time she needs to adjust and relax, you will be permitted to bask in the reflected glow of this celestial goddess.
Get in touch and we will set up a meet and greet. This meet and greet lets you meet the kittens/cats and lets us have a conversation about what you are looking for and what your expectations of a life with cat are. I can also answer any questions you may have.
If you like the cat/kitten, and can provide him/her with a stable, life long inside only or inside plus enclosure home, you will be able to adopt him/her.
We sometimes do home inspections, just to make sure that you are set up for a kitten/cat.
