HI my name is Harper. I’m a beautiful black and white Border collie cross girl around 7 months old.
I am a very affectionate who will be a devoted pet to anyone that adopts me.
I absolutely adore spending time with my foster family and getting plenty of pats and cuddles and giving plenty of kisses in return. I also enjoy spending some time with my two doggy foster siblings and will sometimes play chase around the yard before settling in for a nap. If my foster humans are in the yard I potter around after them and when they go inside I like to come in too.
My foster Mum says that I am a very smart girl and easily trained. I come when called and know how to sit, stay and drop. I am learning not to jump up on my foster family when I am very excited and working on my lead manners, so I don’t pull on my lead. The continuation of my training will be very important for me to develop into an awesome all-round dog.
In my foster home I have been an indoor / outdoor dog. I am fully toilet trained and I sleep quietly through the night in my crate. I know not to chew what I shouldn’t and am happy just to relax close to the family when inside.
I have also socialised really well when on fun outings with my foster family they have taken me to the dog park and beach. I had a wonderful time playing with many dogs of different sizes at the park. But my favourite was the beach. I had a wonderful time off lead and stayed close to my foster family going into the water with the children running along the beach.
My ideal forever home will have someone that is home most of the time or another doggy sibling to play with. I need a family that understands my need for continued mental stimulation and socialisation with other people and dogs. Overall, I want a family who will love me and allow me to love them with all my doggy heart!
Love and licks,
