Hi. My name is Luna and I am a 7 month old Kelpie looking for my loving forever home!
As you can see, I am a Tripaw. I lost my leg at 6 months of age due to injury. It doesn’t stop me
though! My foster family includes 3 children and a foster sister dog. I love running around with them
and playing! In fact I often run rings around them!
My foster mum says that I am so friendly, it is no wonder I make friends so easily and that so many
people are amazed by my big journey in the last month.
I know my name and come on command. I know sit and I walk well on the lead. I am eager to earn a
reward of excited cuddles and am a very fast leaner. My foster mum is introducing me to swimming
as this is the perfect exercise for a tripaw like me.
I am also really versatile. I am as much at home out in the yard as I am snuggling on the lounge! I
also like a good amount of mental stimulation, because I’m a kelpie!
I will be best suited to a family that can match my level of energy and need for mental stimulation throughout the day and a family that can give me lots of love and cuddles. Making swimming a regular part of exercise will also be beneficial for my long term health and wellbeing.
If you think that I could be a perfect match for you, please fill out an application!
Luna's back left leg has been amputated due to an injury.
*Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your enquiry, and include your answers to the adoptions questionnaire (below) - please complete in as much detail as possible to help us best assess suitability of the dog for you/your family.
- Please do not apply until you are ready to welcome your new furry family member home in the coming 1-2 weeks, maximum(unless otherwise stated for puppies who are not yet 8 weeks).
*Once the completed questionnaire is received, our adoptions team will respond by email, and following that, you will receive a phone call to discuss the dog in further detail, and answer any other questions you may have.
*The below information must be completed to progress with your application. We are looking for the most suitable family and home for each dog, and applications are only considered enquiries until we receive a completed questionnaire.
