CHARLIE IS A GOLDEN OLDIE
Dear Charlie, what a lovely little chap. He’s had a hair cut in the pound that did him no favours but much like Charlie Chaplin in a black and white movie, his eyebrows and mustache are growing in nicely! Very soon he will be sporting the flamboyant mo and eyebrows that the Schnauzers wear with such flair and combined with the long legs and smarts of the Poodle, he is about to bust out as a gorgeous little man who turns heads wherever he goes.
He is an all-rounder. Good in the car, waits politely for his dinner, house-trained, calm, sleeps quietly throughout the night and most importantly, is very friendly! He is an equal-opportunity lover, he bustles about making friends with people and other nice dogs. He will be an absolute joy to the lucky family who gets to add him to their team.
Because he is such a friendly little chap, he needs to go with a family that has another nice little dog for him to play with as we do not want him to be alone for long periods of time. He’d probably like a child or two as well if you have them! He is only small weighing in at about 5kgs so kids over the age of six or seven would probably be best.
He has a medium length coat so he will need someone who is committed to grooming him as we do not ever want him to get into the state he was when he arrived in care. He is an absolute hit not only with his foster carer, but also with her entire family who loved him on sight as well.
Charlie is a house dog and would love a home with a doggie door or similar that he can go in and out of the house when he likes.
Charlie comes desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $395. Charlie is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Charlie, please email Denise
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs please email and tell us all about your family, other pets, lifestyle, accommodation and anything else relevant to your enquiry, this information helps us to know if the dog you are enquiring about will suit your family. As all of our rescue dogs are in foster care in private homes we know what our dogs want and need to keep them happy when they are adopted by their new family. Home visits are done to check fencing, meet family members and other animals in the home. Once the home check is complete you are welcome to visit the dog in his foster home and all going well the dog will go on a two week trial with your family. We are always happy to extend the trial period if necessary. If for any reason at any time the adoption fails please contact us immediately, we will always take our dogs back into care
