About Jet
If you would like to meet Jet please complete this form https://www.dogadoption.org.au/expression-of-interest---adoption.html
Located Ettalong Beach, NSW 2257
Generally.
Jet is a happy, sweet, affectionate and playful young boy. His high energy levels are easy to manage with regular, daily exercise. He is generally well behaved and very easy to love.
Ideal home.
While he will appeal to many, he will be best suited in a home that is actively looking for a dog who will be involved with the family. He will thrive in families with older kids, empty nesters and active retirees.
This handsome fellow would be best suited in a home with people that have experience with the breed.
Jet will not suit homes where residents are young, frail, elderly or time poor.
Other dogs?
Yes. Jet is currently living with a female dog and follows her around the house, listens to her and tries to cuddle her to sleep. Unfortunately Jet’s affection is not appreciated. He is generally good in social situations.
Cats?
No.
Kids?
Yes. We recommend any kids be primary school aged or older as a precaution.
Size.
23 kgs.
Exercise requirements?
High - Jet will run and run. He cannot miss a day.
How is this dog on a lead?
Like most dogs he starts off pulling but settles. As he is still young he gets excited when meeting new friends.
How is this dog off the lead?
Jet tends to stay close by and come when called. His recall is good - especially with food as a reward.
Escape artist?
If Jet gets out he tends to stay close to home. We recommend a medium to large secure yard.
Nuisance barker or destructive?
He alerts you if something strange is about but is not currently a nuisance barker. He loves to go into kids’ school bags for food scraps.
Toilet trained?
Yes.
Tolerance to being alone.
Yes.
Likes.
Jet really enjoys being around people, the beach, walks and even wrestling with his 'dog sister'. Jet also loves food.
Dislikes.
Even though he loves the beach Jet has not learned to swim yet.

______________________________________
We strongly recommend you read the profile carefully where everything we know about the dog/s is outlined.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) http://www.dogadoption.org.au/expression-of-interest.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner/s. It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog/s.
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we do not usually allow trials.
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
